About Us

Dragon Construction is a father and son team founded in August 2012. Paul Guppy, the father, has 41 years’ experience in the construction industry and is currently managing his third company. He has also got a Gold in ballet and tap dancing! His son, Kyle, has ten years’ experience; he is a qualified master carpenter and joiner.

A personal service

We offer a very personal service, which is tailored to suit each client. Each build is delivered by our own highly trained teams – including a quantity surveyor, architect, electricians and plumbers – with specialist subcontractors used only when needed. A joinery service is also offered from our Cardiff yard. We are passionate about construction, combining an appreciation of new technology while holding the old-school belief that saving the client time and money is key!

A secure service

Here at Dragon Construction, we understand that security and peace of mind are paramount for each client. We have services to offer any size build. For smaller home refurbishments, we have a portable burglar alarm system which is provided free of charge. For larger builds we work with Zenith Security to provide private, tailored security services, including onsite security. All sites are available for each client to access at any time.

Accreditation

We pride ourselves on our professionalism and our ability to provide the best work possible. To that:

• All of our staff are Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) certified;
• All of our staff have passed an Asbestos Awareness Course;
• Paul is a qualified First Aid instructor;
• We have 3 fully qualified first aiders on the team;
• All power tools are PAT Tested by our in-house electrician.
